The suite of this hotel is really very pleasant, spacious, very well furnished in a traditional way with its closed and open terraces.

The serenity of the place as a whole, the old-fashioned glass roof over the interior courtyard, the simply luxurious comfort of the private space as well as a location just a stone's throw from the Plaza Mayor.

Location and public areas of the old building especially the inner patio courtyard. Underground car parking. Bathroom was clean and towels were huge and smelled fresh.

There were not enough staff - only one person on reception dealing with everything at check-in. No-one on duty at breakfast and breakfast selection poor. There were very few guests when we had breakfast which was lucky because it would have been dreadful if busy with only half a toaster working and the coffee machine out of milk. The Junior Suite was disappointing - a premium price for two dark rooms and an uncomfortable bed. The WiFi didn't work - not secure and weak. Unacceptable in a 4 star hotel.

What a lovely hotel and the town of Llerena was lovey too. Our room was a great size with a huge bathroom and large comfortable bed. Our dog was made very welcome too. We had been driving all day in the heat so appreciated the cool interior of the hotel. The hotel is near the main plaza where we went out later for dinner. The food is apparently very good in the hotel but we just wanted a walk round the town and to sit outside. Would definitely recommend Llerena for a short break staying in the Hotel Mirador. Excellent value for the price, we have paid more in some budget hotels without any of the charm of this hotel.

Can't think of anything that would have made our stay better.
